Do I need to be able to swim?

No, it is not required. While basic swimming skills may help you to feel comfortable on the water, we have several levels of safety built in to each river outing. We all wear PFDs (a Personal Flotation Device) that will help keep you afloat in the event of capsizing and the rafting guides are skilled at getting everyone back into the boat quickly. Please talk to our site coordinator if you have further questions.

Yes, Wi-Fi is available at the motel and community center. Cell service may be sporadic and dependent on your carrier.  This, however, could be a good thing because you are on a retreat!
