The White Water Institute: Looking to the river as a living system for personal and organizational answers in uncertain times
Our signature events are four-day institutes for community and educational leaders, held in Maupin, Oregon – on, in and by the Deschutes River.
How does the river experience differ from other professional development events?
Your learning experience with the White Water Institute will be like no other personal or professional development opportunity you have ever had. It will:
- Engage you intellectually, physically, emotionally, socially and spiritually;
- Challenge you to take new risks with the support of others;
- Reconnect you with life as depicted and experienced on, in and beside a wild, natural river; and,
- Transcend the traditional, mechanistic processes that threaten the life and health of most organizations.
Our tributaries include the White Water Institute for:
- Community College and University Leadership
- Community Engagement
- Connecting Youth and Adults
- Optional Sessions
People with whom we work:
Educators, policy makers, community leaders and members
The White Water Institute is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization.
